All sanction report forms should be sent to the state and regional chairman 24 hrs after a sanctioned meet. This is a procedure that needs to be followed.

Please send the following forms to the regional chairman:

sanction report form
injury report form(if an injury occurred during the meet)
completed coaches and judges sign in forms
all meet results

Remember all meet directors are to check all coaches,athletes and judges certifications before your meet begins as per rules and policies. Be sure you are aware of the new sanctioned event policies as per january 2012 by USA Gymnastics.

Boys team Coaching Position available

Starting May 2012 Aim High Academy, located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island is looking for a strong individual to join its Boys Gymnastics coaching staff. Majority of coaching will be Boys Team, but Girls team, tumbling and recreational classes are part of the position as well.

We are looking for someone who is a self starter and great with both boys and girls. Experience in coaching compulsory and optional boys is required. Applicant must be a team player, who can work with many different people. We are a 23,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility with in-ground trampoline, power trac and pit systems.

Part-time or Full- time positions are available. Applicant must be USAG certified, Safety Certified and pass background check. Please visit our website at www.aimhighacademy.com for more information about our facility and always growing programs.

Judges,

This took much longer then I thought, sorry for the delay, thank you the patience. I made changes from the original assignments; I had to include other judges, assign new meets, and distribute them more evenly. I will assign events of the meets when there are six or more judges, if other, you can pick your events when you get there. For the most part you are on your own in locating the gym. I will send the holiday meet, the TDNI meet, MA States, RI States, and R6 locations later.

Remember to have your USAG Professional membership up to date, to dress appropriately, arrive at least 1/2 prior to competition, to check the equipment, and to apply the rules accurately and fairly.

Please carefully read the following information on new Board of Director approved policies regarding the hosting of USA Gymnastics sanctioned events. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Men’s Program or Membership at USA Gymnastics. USA Gymnastics is committed to promoting a safe environment for its members, participants, coaches, officials, volunteers and staff in all of the gymnastics disciplines. Consistent with this commitment, USA Gymnastics is instituting a new sanction policy to ensure that all meet directors, as well as the club(s), independent organization(s), and/or committee(s) they represent, adhere to the USA Gymnastics Standard of Care policy and procedures. Effective January 2012, the following criteria will be required to be a meet director and/or host a USA Gymnastics-sanctioned event or activity:

The 2012 Winter Cup Challenge

The 2012 Winter Cup Challenge information been posted on the Men’s Page of the USA Gymnastics web site.

The format, qualifying and registration procedure has changed for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge so please read the information very carefully.

Important - please note the following:

Qualified (invited) athletes for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge are listed in the information Athletes who plan to petition to the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge must have their petition submitted to the Men’s Program Director no later than November 1, 2011.
Registration for the 2012 Winter Cup Challenge opens on November 1 and closes on December 1, 2011.
All registrations from invited athletes (not alternates) must be received by December 1.

The 102nd Gymnastics Exhibition Show

The 102nd Gymnastics Exhibition Show will be held on Friday, October 14th at 8PM and Saturday, October 15th, at 7:30 PM in Blake Arena. The theme of the show is "Annual Celebrations."

Ticket prices are $10/adults, $7.00/seniors, $5.00 children.

Please come one hour early to the show as we have open seating and we often sell out.
